Merina Hotel - Yaounde

This place is tidy and the staff is well organized. I stayed in a double room that was part of a nicely renovated building. the location is exceptional and truly unbeatable, right in the center of town. 🏙️.

Very central location was a plus. The staff was very nice in managing every request. I thoroughly enjoyed the clean room with the bedroom.

Everything is good here, had a really nice stay on a business trip. The staff is being amicable and helpful. The place has particularly good and absolutely perfect location in the centre of town. It's also just next door to Yaounde, the grocery store for bottled water and a taxi...

It was a convenient base for our good stay. Great connection to National Museum of Yaounde, it' s 1 mile away. Dine at Le Moulin de France, which is located within 800 feet from the hotel. We loved the location: D

I had a pleasant experience at Merina Hotel. the inside was quite clean, and I booked a room that offered an exceptionally comfortable bed, a handy work desk, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, along with a television for entertainment. Having a bath in the bathroom was a delightful bonus. the hotel's location is convenient, situated right next to a grocery store for bottled water and offering easy access to numerous restaurants. Zamzam Well is only 2 km away, making it a great choice for nearby exploration.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, right in the city center next to the main market. The staff here were exceptional, always attentive and eager to assist. The room service was excellent, and the housekeeping kept everything clean and tidy. I also appreciated the free airport shuttle service, which made my travel arrangements much easier. The outdoor swimming pool was a great place to relax and unwind, and the sun terrace provided a beautiful view. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. this place exceeded my expectations and provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

The Merina in Yaounde had a great location, strong Wifi, and helpful staff. The TV had many channels, the A/C worked well, and there was hot water. the receptionist were very good too assist with printing documents.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were properly maintained and the hotel fragrance was impeccable. The hotel is also situated in a great location, with many tourist spots nearby. The staff were welcoming and always ready to help, which made the experience enjoyable.

I disliked the slow Wi-Fi connection and that the water pressure was low. During the Easter egg hunt, I had to use the public restroom, which was not well maintained. The hotel staff could be a bit more efficient in addressing guests' complaints. I didn't enjoy my time at this hotel due to the slow Wi-Fi and low water pressure.

We were impressed by the hotel's central location and the polite staff, who made our check-in process seamless. the room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent air conditioning and heavy curtains that contributed to a restful sleep.

The staff gave a poor impression with rude behavior and unresponsive service, which detracted from the experience.

Stayed in the centre of the city for a quick city break. the hotel was located within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping. the hotel room was clean and comfortable with pleasant decor. the Wi-Fi was free and reliable. There were a swimming pool and a gym available.

The breakfast somewhat lacked variety. the dining room seemed dated compared to the other parts of the hotel, which was a bit odd.
